Implementation of the Equator Principles

Bradesco implements the Equator Principles through a dedicated socio-environmental analysis structure, composed of specialists who act as EP Reviewers. These professionals are responsible for assessing the compliance of transactions with the EP criteria, from the origination phase to financial close.

The analysis is integrated into the credit process, with the involvement of business areas and validation by senior management, depending on the project’s criticality. The EPs are formally incorporated into the institution’s internal credit and environmental risk policies, forming part of the decision-making process for project finance operations.

The institution conducts regular training and policy updates to ensure consistent application of the EPs across all eligible transactions.
